This past weekend we ran a story about Randy Orton and Shane McMahon's numbers getting mixed up in the WWE Royal Rumble. To clarify, Randy Orton was supposed to be number 28, and was ready to walk through the curtain when Shane McMahon's music hit. A shocked Shane McMahon headed towards the curtain and his expressed his displeasure when Randy Orton sent him a "verbal cue" that he wouldn't be going out, as we'd reported from those who saw what happened

We've learned that verbal cue was Randy Orton immediately bursting into laughter at the error, to the point where he fell on the ground laughing at the situation -- literally rolling on the floor, laughing his ass off. Fortunately Orton was able to compose himself pretty well to enter immediately following that and spent a couple of minutes in the Royal Rumble before being eliminated. We're told that the reaction seemed to be in good fun after a hectic day.

I am Randall Orton’s #1 fan. The person, not the wrestling character.

Mickel

I’m totally loving the chill and mellow older Randy lol.

They should produce WWE like the new Netflix Murderville show where everything is scripted but Randy is just improving as himself

Yeah, safe to say Randy has truly grown as a person(no sarcasm when saying this btw) to the point that he'd laugh that hard as a result of an error relating to creative issues. Like, I love that there are still cases where people actually fall on the ground from laughter, I genuinely love that.
