WWE Pushing For A Major Star To Return (Patreon)

Ronda Rousey could be heading back to WWE soon if they have their way.

Fightful has learned that a Ronda Rousey return has been discussed internally, to the point that it's considered a "poorly kept secret," and has been mentioned to talent outside the company. Fightful was told that Rousey was a name tossed around as a potential Royal Rumble entrant or at least to have some participation in the Rumble, though her involvement beyond that isn't known. We've been told by those within WWE that she's been training of late, as well, who think that it's a matter of "when and not if" she returns.

Rousey gave birth in September, which would make for a quick turnaround for a return. Rousey hasn't made any appearances since WrestleMania 35. Her original WWE contract was set to expire in April 2021.

Fightful has not confirmed that Ronda Rousey will be returning to WWE or even an entrant in the upcoming Royal Rumble, however we're told it's the most chatter that has existed about Rousey making a comeback since she left in 2019.
