We asked Drew McIntyre about his participation in the WWE 2K22 game that releases next year. McIntyre says it feels like he's been contributing to the game "for a while" at this point and said that 2K recognizes that the last effort was not a good one and want to make good on. He put over what he's seen of the game thus far, and said the process has involved him contributing voiceovers, scans, liners and there's a lot of effort being put on the game.

WWE 2K had scanned numerous released Superstars into the game, with several of them even telling Fightful directly they wouldn't mind if they were still included for the payday alone.

There will be more news on WWE 2K22 dropping this week that might instill some faith in fans of the franchise.

Hopefully they get some stars to still be in the game.

I ain't gonna lie. The WWE games are probably the only thing I financially support with WWE. I'm just sad that The Fiend won't even be involved in any capacity like in MyCareer. I would've loved to see a feud between my CAW and The Fiend done and well.

I have purchased every single WWE game since the early 2000s. Unless they blow my socks off and prove it's changed, this will be the first one I don't purchase.

Hopefully Fightful Select will have exclusive content for WWE 2K22 for us subscribers :)

I feel bad for 2k with all the releases. The roster will be hurting.
