WWE released a ton of talent on Thursday night. We have some notes and details on this.

- There were company wide emails sent out from John Laurinaitis notifying of the releases, and citing "budget cuts" as the reason.

- Even though B-Fab had been released, her name was included in the NXT email as opposed to the one mentioning main roster cuts.

- The NXT email included: B-Fab, Scarlett, Franky Monet, Ember Moon, Jessi Kamea, Trey Baxter, Oney Lorcan, Jeet Rama, Katrina Cortez, Zayda Ramier.

- Oney Lorcan's name was misspelled as "Oney Lorkan" in the email

- The main roster email included Mia Yim, Keith Lee, Eva Marie, Nia Jax, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Karrion Kross

- The email read "Due to budget cuts, the following WWE talent were released today, November, 4, 2021. Thank you, John Laurinaitis." for the WWE releases.

- The NXT email from the Director of Talent Relations read "Due to budgetary cuts, with immediate effect, we've come to terms with the following NXT talents. We wish these individuals all the best in their future endeavors."

Christ on a bike that's fucking callous and unnerving.

Any idea why there wasn’t the usual WWE.com article about the main roster releases? ???

Dennis Puopolo

That’s disgusting to not even spell Oney’s name correctly

It kind of really horrible. It was at least better to get a call I would think.

Talia

Wait, so did the actual released talent find out they were fired via mass email?

On the same day as the media release call, this really makes me question wether or not I want to support the product any longer. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Oh nah that’s cold

I waived goodbye to WWE when they continued to do business with the Saudi's. I get that money is money and business is business, but there are limits to everything. I'll take my business to other places like AEW where they send out their biggest star (arguably) to emphatically endorse seeking aid when your mental health or addiction get out of your control.

Keith Lee is my favorite current wrestler. I have no faith in WWE to build stars anymore. I am waving goodbye to them.

So if they are on the NXT email are they subject to the 30 day non compete?

Was Karrion Kross mentioned in the email?

Busby

Cold and straight to the point.

I wonder if WWE left pizza in the break room for a morale boost.
