With the Women's Title situation in a very weird spot, we have a bit of an update -- or lack thereof -- on Crown Jewel.

With Charlotte the Raw Women's Champion but moving to Smackdown, many have speculated Charlotte Flair could be added to Thursday's Smackdown Women's Title match featuring Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Based on those we've spoken to, she has not been listed internally for the show, and was not seen by several we asked who traveled to Saudi Arabia. Instead, we're told that she's in Mexico until heading out for Smackdown.

Charlotte Flair is doing a signing at a Cricket Wireless store in Wichita Friday morning, the site of Smackdown. We've been told that WWE likely will not bring full crews to Saudi shows if they're booked the next day after the 2019 debacle, as to not leave them shorthanded. As of now the only Smackdown talents booked for Crown Jewel are Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Usos, Sasha Banks, Xavier Woods, Mansoor and Mustafa Ali, leaving WWE with a huge crew for Smackdown.

Charlotte is getting very close to being the first female wrestler to win "Most Overrated" in the WON awards.

I suspect that she, along with many other talents, are specifically not traveling as a safety precaution in case Smackdown talent get held up overseas as has happened in the past. This is also why I suspect that a majority of the talent on the Crown Jewel card are Raw superstars as of next week.

Yeah. It’s a move deliberately to prevent a 2019 situation again

Cal

Huge crew for SD dont the rosters go into affect tho?

Zelina isn't a SD talent anymore after Crown Jewel

Reigns, Usos, Sasha Banks, Drew McIntyre, Mustafa Ali, and Monsoor are the only SD talent starting on Friday. Admittedly some larger names, but there's more than enough talent staying behind to fill if they don't make it back.

Well if Goldberg is gonna kill somebody who else would they call? Lol. Not mention Goldberg did nearly, legitimately, kill Taker over there a couple years ago

Big-timing the saudis with that Cricket Wireless money, shoutout to Charlotte
