Thunder Rosa on Tony Khan and AEW buying her out of NWA (Patreon)

In speaking with Thunder Rosa, Rosa told Fightful that she was very flattered that AEW Founder Tony Khan would buy her out of her NWA contract when it was up in a few months anyway. Fightful has learned that there was heat between NWA long before and she'd actually asked for her release in late 2020. Rosa told Fightful that Khan went above and beyond to make sure that she felt wanted and said that Khan has confidence in her abilities.

Rosa and NWA had a rocky end to their relationship, and Rosa told Fightful by the end she was going directly through Pat Kenney for her work there.
