Another name tied to WOW reboot (Patreon)

After the news of Tessa Blanchard joining a revamped WOW Women of Wrestling emerged from Fightful Select this week, we noted that there was another unnamed WOW veteran who was joining the fold.

Fightful has learned that is The Beast, real name Twana Barnett-Ferguson. The 44 year-old former WOW Wrestling Champion has exclusively wrestled for the promotion, as best we can tell, and doesn't appear to have competed since the last WOW Women of Wrestling show in October 2019.

We have heard from several women's wrestlers within the industry who say they were contacted for the promotion, which we'll work to report in the coming weeks.

In an update, we're told Alex Gracia is on the scene of the press conference as well. She has experience in NWA and AEW and had a WWE tryout.
