After weeks of speculation, Fightful has learned that AEW's Full Gear is set for Minneapolis, Minnesota, according to the internal plans within the company.

AEW Full Gear was originally planned for Saturday, November 6 in St. Louis, before the show was moved to November 13. UFC is running a huge PPV on the November 6 date, and AEW founder Tony Khan noted that he doesn't like competing against his own interests in the UFC on Sundays during football season. At the AEW All Out post-show media scrum, Khan had indicated that St. Louis would no longer be the location. PWInsider had previously mentioned that Minneapolis was being considered as a location. Fightful has learned tonight that many within the company have been told that is set.

Many AEW talent were set for The Big Event in New York for November 13. However, we're told that AEW worked and went "above and beyond" to make it right to the promoters, and their talent scheduled will now be appearing the following day, November 14.

In an update, Target Center employees claim that the show will be there.

Pretty upset about this to be honest. St.Louis better get something big to make up for that. I was stoked as hell.

im in that city and im 100% going. Are they likely announcing tickets at grand slam?

It’s annoying liking AEW and being from the West Coast…

That last little paragraph is big. Tony's always doing these little things that create a ton of good will.

Hopefully UFC doesn't schedule an event on that date too.

Im like pretty upset that you’re pretty upset pal. Like at least youve gotten a show near you that wasnt a 5 hour plane ride away. Everyone is antsy to get a show especially the west coast.

I'm very curious how they make this up to STL. STL was getting Dynamite last year then the pandemic hit. Then when they announced that Full Gear would be in STL on the Double or Nothing ppv that original show got switched to Rampage. Now it's just a Rampage. And I've been to a Live Rampage. It's 2 and a half hours of taping dark and then 1 hour live which unless is a special Rampage rarely features any major matches. I get the UFC reason but people that heard it was coming here and then hear no because of UFC will be like what the hell.

🤮🤮🤮🤮

Evil Jimmy Hart be like MOMMY

I wouldn't be surprised of they brought Revolution to St. Louis. Last year it was in Chicago but Chicago is going to have like 6 different AEW shows there by the end of the year

Do we know yet if Rampage will be Friday also like the plan was for St. Louis?

What wasnt mentioned in the report is that Canelo Alvarez is also boxing on that day. That plus the UFC card really make it an untenable day for AEW.

Let's go! About time they go to the twin cities!

I live in Fargo ND and will be making the trip and would also like to know when tickets go on sale

Tickets for Rampage are on Axs for the show before the full gear ppv. On sale tomorrow with a code.
