IMPACT staff is told Tommy Dreamer not at IMPACT tapings (Patreon)

Fightful has learned that at a production meeting today, staff was informed that Tommy Dreamer would not be at this weekend's Nashville tapings. Dreamer appeared on last night's Dark Side of The Ring, where he recounted the events of the Plane Ride From Hell, brushing off Ric Flair's behavior during the event, and saying it was simply a "joke," among other things. We were not told of his role going forward and how it is affected.

The sad part is he probably said that thinking he would look like a hero or mkre the fans think they were one of "the boys" exchanging stories. That's the only reason I can think of as to why someone would go on a cable TV show and say all those things

Good. Screw him. He should be gone. It's so noticeable that him and Bully Dudley are obsessed with getting I to AEW to kill what locker room morale they have with the old boys shit. Put Chris Hero in charge and move on.

What kind of bubble does Dreamer live in that he thought that this would be an acceptable attitude to express on a broadcast, even if it's what he truly believed in private? This is especially troubling considering his positions of authority in the industry. Following Don Callis, Impact may have some additional housecleaning to do in its administration.

I just was thinking about that. He has allegations on him as well.. Fired as EVP.. But, still manages. We will see what happens.

It's not like Dreamer didn't know cameras were rolling or something. He chose to express these views knowing full well they would be on national television. That's the level to which he thought there was nothing wrong with anything he was saying. How incredibly out of touch.
