Fightful has learned a lot more about the plans for Big E and the WWE Title that came to fruition.

The WWE sources we've spoken to in the days following Big E's huge title win stated that "almost everyone" was of the belief that Big E would win the title, but it had been talked about being a reality very early after the Money in the Bank victory. Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Radio had even mentioned originally a draft date was planned.

Fightful has confirmed that those plans picked up this weekend after the Madison Square Garden Smackdown when the Orton vs. Lashley match was moved up to Monday. WWE firmed up plans on Saturday to bring Big E to Raw, but the creative was kept close to the vest until Monday. At that point Big E was informed he'd be cashing in Money in the Bank to win the WWE Title. This isn't out of the ordinary, as Nikki ASH told us in our recent interview that it was the same case for her.

Much of the roster stuck around to watch the match and title change unfold, which is uncharacteristic as many of the talent leave before the show goes off the air. We're told there was seemingly universal elation for Big E, as many would expect he's one of the most beloved members of the roster.

Have they told him when he's dropping it to Goldberg and being blamed for the ratings?

Mohammed_

Wait they actually leave before the end of the show?

Wulf

I’m so happy for him, for everyone to stay and see it all unfold is really awesome.

Now all we need is Xavier to win the WWE title and we got the complete trifecta. That said, this just shows how much people love Big E as a wrestler and a person.

Aww, that's so cool that mostly everyone stuck around to watch him win.

That’s so cool to see the locker room be so joyful for Big E winning

Was he told to tweet that he was cashing in or was that his idea

We need Xavier v Heath Slater to see which famous 3 man faction completes the set
