In case it was hard to tell, there have been big changes to both Raw and NXT this week based on the original plans.

Fightful has learned that there was a major reshuffling for both shows, although it happened much sooner than usual -- which seems to be when the scripts are already finalized. Last week, WWE announced that Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley was moved from Extreme Rules to WWE Raw. We also revealed earlier that both Big E and Samoa Joe were planned for the show as of last week, though that was before Samoa Joe announced his injury.

Obviously Samoa Joe's injury caused things to change for NXT as well, as he had to relinquish his title. However, we're told that lineup changes are already happening for Tuesday's NXT as well. We were told that several of these changes for Raw and NXT were not within the control of the company. NXT talent still has not been clued in for much of the changes to the NXT brand.

News is firing off today

Jordan Lassiter

So that must mean that the USA network was the one putting there foot down

Thomas Middaugh

Franky Monet didn't promote her women's title match for tomorrow night ,while on Busted Open . Is that match off of the lineup for tomorrow night?

Luis Pulido

Starting to think that USA Network is the ones forcing the changes on weekly basis, but then I remember Vince is still there and t leaves me confused.

USA network is clueless. They could care less west's on the shows. Vince is the but job who can't keep two weeks worth of continuity together

So is Joe really injured and the timing is just a coincidence?

But if they really care why have they let a show drop in viewership so dramatically and not have anything change for the better part of 15+ years? I get that Raw is the highest rated show on TV most non football Mondays, but the amount USA keeps giving them each renewal vs the ratings decline don't seem to add up

You should really educate yourself before speaking in definites. If you think that USA Network is happy that the viewership for a show they gave a billion dollar deal to is falling disproportionately you're wrong. WWE was severely underpaid for decades based on the numbers they drew. Saying USA Network doesn't care is an uninformed falsehood
