Damian Priest told Fightful that Triple H approached him backstage at an NXT show, and told him he was moving up to the main roster but wasn't sure what show he would be on. Priest initially wasn't sure how to feel and said it felt a little awkward because he loved NXT and working with Triple H, and even asked Triple H was happy about it. Priest told us that NXT was an instrumental part of his career, and goes back to NXT tapings often so he can continue learning from them from a business perspective. Priest is hopeful to get into that end of wrestling after his career and has had conversations with Triple H about it.
