Adam Cole is now a free agent and able to go anywhere he chooses, but in speaking to WWE sources, Fightful learned an interesting note about some talks he had. According to those in WWE, Adam Cole had made it clear well ahead of his contract even coming up in July that he was not willing to give up his Twitch as many other wrestlers had been asked to do. The WWE source we originally spoke to on the matter called it "non-negotiable" for him, and even said that higher ups weren't excited to talk to him about it in general, because they didn't have much leverage on the situation, and that was even before they knew his contract came up in July.

All hail the people's gamer King Cole Bay Bay

He really has a great Twitch family, legitimately one of the most wholesome channels on the whole site

I’m sure it may seem small to some but WWE controls so much, if they want him as bad as they make it seem to be, it shouldn’t be an issue. Those higher ups likely don’t understand why Twitch is so popular or what it even is, that’s why they’re so out of touch.

Some people may laugh at that, but you can tell by watching his streams how much he cares about it. Good on him

Brennon Richardson

Absolutely dumbfounded that you could let one of the top wrestlers on the planet leave just because you can’t control HIS twitch. What a power hungry piece of shit.

David Pick

Get in. Love that he’s staying true to principles and everything as well as the cash

This about confirms he is AEW bound.

He's for sure All Out on WWE

The dude made it a point several times that he isn't giving up his Twitch account. The dude absolutely loves streaming and the people he met through it. If you watch his streams, Cole fucking loves to interact with his fanbase. Not to mention his streams and the Chugs Army tends to be some of the most chill things around. So glad he held that firm.

So, all this means is they were aware that Twitch was non-negotiable for him. That was back in July. It’s still possible that WWE has been working on a contract to allow him to keep his Twitch. Hell, they could even be considering allowing Twitch for all. We don’t know.

If you watched him there you know that He loves twitch so much

Rincewind

Imagine losing a contractor, with even fraction of that decision being because you couldn't agree to stop dipping into their side-hustles. Good for him. TheCHUGS is a self-made thing.

if he ever signs with AEW will he still be allowed to appear on UUDD? Woods has lost too many this year.

Jared Searcy

That’s a WWE call. Pretty sure UUDD is a WWE venture with Xavier. I don’t think TK really cares much.

Joel Wood

That’s a hard no on that. WWE owns UUDD and I don’t see an alternate universe where they allow a contracted AEW talent to appear on it

Steveisnotmyname

Woods has hinted in some live streams that he’s trying to negotiate behind the scenes for them to let Cole and Breeze continue to appear on UUDD… but that might just be while they’re not working for any other wrestling company. I do doubt WWE would ever let them be on there if they sign elsewhere. I guess it all depends how much pull Woods has and how much they care about UUDD. I do find it interesting that everyone uses different names on UUDD, and not their WWE-contracted names, even though it’s owned by WWE.
