It was reported today by Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard will be "producing" NXT with Dave Meltzer later adding that "McMahon and Prichard will be behind the big decisions, not the little ones, and will be behind marketing, promotion, and direction. Their role in booking may only be regarding those at the top."

Fightful has spoken to numerous talent in NXT who have not yet been informed of such a decision and are effectively left in the dark on that news. Those that we spoke to have said that they didn't notice Vince McMahon or Bruce Prichard at the recent set of tapings. However, influential producer Jamie Noble has been said to be around the Performance Center much more often than usual of late.

Talent has, however, been told that Bruce Prichard will be at the WWE Performance Center this weekend. Not all talent has been mandated to be there for that.

That’s wild. Can’t begin to try to understand that

I get its a business move but man I’m gonna miss current era NXT.

HHH should be furious

Vince's time is stretched handling both raw and smackdown......now he is taking on NXT as well? lol. we'll see how long this lasts.

Godspeed NXT....you will be missed. Man what a run they had till moving to two hours and on the USA Network

And I am not against them being strictly a developmental brand, that was always the idea. I am against those who think they still know what type physically should be a main eventer

NXT had so many great memories, you will be missed..... RIP

Matt

Finally nxt will get a much needed makeover

Tuesday 5pm: “Reports are that Vince was furious with the NXT script and ripped it up. Creative ideas for the show tonight are still being determined.”

This is all making me wonder if HHH is long for the road with WWE.

So long NXT. We will always have the glory years of 2014-2018.

If i saw what i created most probably being pooped upon, i'd be out of there in a heartbeat.

The return of Terra Ryzing

Brian Bayless

Doesn’t sound too promising for NXT viewers.

Honestly it wouldn’t shock me if nick khan tries to convince McMahon to let the television option lapse and put it on peacock

As a Florida resident, I remember the days when tickets for NXT tapings at Full Sail were so hot 🔥, they would sell out before I could verify that I wasn't a robot. Those were the days that we'll likely never see again. 😔

Hopefully this will be short lived, Bruce Prichard is equivalent to a Vince Russo, he’s definitely a lingering cancer on the current WWE Creative Process. It’s amazing how Hunter has allowed this to happen.

What can Hunter do when technically it's all Vince's. He can't do anything about it.

I mean, it’ll probably turn in to NXT from 2015-2018 which wasn’t a bad era. Even 2013-2014. But regardless. Anybody that thinks Vince McMahon is going to personally travel from wherever Raw is on Monday’s down to Orlando and then back to wherever Smackdown is that week and do that every week, not to mention Weeks that have Takeovers, is really fooling themselves. It’s more likely in my opinion to be he sends somebody like Bruce or Jamie Noble down there to report back to him on how things are going, certain talents, etc. They’ll probably have creative input but I doubt it’ll be at the level of Raw where Vince is ripping up scripts thirty minutes before the show. 90% of their talent on the show right now are from the independents. They’re not just gonna job them all out.

Yikes. The ego on Vince to think he’s more in touch with current wrestling than HHH

2 out of 31 comments here are optimistic. And that’s 2 too many.

So it's still HHH's form of show and matches. Vince is just deciding the winners and promotional material? This might not be as bad as everyone thinks
