Hey guys, SRS here. To make up for my lack of Q&A this week, I thought I'd post this. If you have a question about Bray Wyatt and his WWE release, I'll answer them if I have one -- in the replies


A couple of ground rules. Please do not speculate about mental health, personal life, and please no "he got released but this person didn't" stuff. We try not to get down like that here.

Hey SRS, Bray seems like just another in a list of talent who were unhappy with creative/the fan base saw WWE drop the ball with creatively to be released. Is budget cuts becoming synonymous with creative differences at this point? Apologies if not Bray specific enough

Do you think they started phasing out Bray Wyatt from The Fiend, (full bodysuit, insistent terminology, ex: The Fiend and not “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt) because they knew he was leaving and they want to put someone else in the role?

Has there been people in the know for a while or was this a sudden move after being unable to come up with an agreement on character and future plans by both parties? This seems to be bray actually imposing his value and the company being unwilling to allow more control of those things possibly. All of that - can’t wait to see what he does next. Only got back into wrestling with All In and didn’t enjoy WWE until I saw this fiend guy. - Even made me get the network to watch his older stuff. Threw me off after the HIAC and haven’t really looked back unless he was involved.

Fully aware of "wreckless speculation" do you think a trio of Bray/Braun/Rowan would make sense somewhere? I'd love to see the Wyatt Family done properly with Bray in charge. Impact seems like they'd fit perfectly with being open to something like that.

Considering the report that Wyatt was being "protective of his character", do you think creative control will be the key deciding factor in where he ends up next? We've heard about certain talent putting creative control of their character at the forefront of negotiations with AEW, I feel like this could be the case with promotions looking to recruit Wyatt in the future.

Do you think Bray’s release has a likely impact on Braun’s decision going forward? We know he’s had talks with both AEW and WWE for a return. But it feels like whatever interest he had in WWE is dwindling after the social media teasing and him accepting bookings (which require a contract) for 2022.

Thanks SRS for this extra opportunity! Do you think Bray could pivot a little bit to being a manager that wrestles similar to Kevin Sullivan? I think that role could add a lot to Tommy End or maybe to Braun if he goes somewhere else, or to a few others in NJPW.

Do you think AEW would become WWE lite by hiring him? I see it as an “oh well” situation because Bray’s merch is money. Lastly, I was discussing this with my fiancé who also watches and I said I felt they haven’t released someone this important without disciplinary reasons ever (excluding this year like Strowman). Can you think of anyone this crazy?
