WWE Hall Of Famer Claims AEW And IMPACT Made Offers To Return; Details (Patreon)

Kurt Angle has said in the past that he wouldn't go back to wrestle in-ring, and specifically said that he wouldn't go to AEW, noting Shaq tried to recruit him there. However, Fightful learned from Angle himself that the offer was there directly from AEW, or so he claims.
Angle tells Fightful that he was offered a deal to come in to All Elite Wrestling for a "run" after his retirement. He said that he was flattered by the offer, but wasn't considering it because he's too beat up physically to compete at the level he once did.
In addition to All Elite Wrestling making Kurt Angle an offer to come in, we're told that IMPACT Wrestling had contacted Angle about coming in as well. Angle told Fightful that the deal with IMPACT Wrestling was only intended to be a "one shot deal" and that even though he had a soft spot for IMPACT/TNA, he never seriously considered it.
We have not confirmed the offers with AEW or IMPACT directly.
