There have been conflicting reports regarding the emerging details of MLW and WWE having discussions regarding talent sharing. Many in NXT were left in the dark about the situation and didn't even know until the rumor had emerged, but we can confirm Dave Meltzer's report that the preliminary conversations have happened, and the talks go "high up" in WWE. We're told the conversations go high up in both companies, but don't have any further details beyond that.

I hate to say it but it seems every promotion that works with wwe eventually gets swallowed up by them

Wow a rare swing and a miss by PW Insider on their story shooting it down

I wonder whats going to happen with the guys who work for AEW/NJPW and MLW is going to work out with the possiblity of WWE working alongside them

I don’t think this is going to sit well with lio rush

I don’t see Lio having an issue with it. He wasn’t one of the ones who got released and went on an interview tour bashing the company to my knowledge. Even if he did have an issue with it, I don’t think he would let it effect his work

Matthew Graham

Do the wrestlers signed with AEW/NJPW have anything in the contracts that say you cant work with WWE and if does say something along those lines become void if MLW/WWE come to terms

Joel Wood

ECW and Evolve are the only two promotions to ever work with WWE and get bought by them unless you’re talking SMW 30 years ago. MLW just signed a deal with Vice and they have other streaming deals. They’re not going anywhere but having a company like WWE promote certain events(such as they did with Evolves anniversary show) couldn’t hurt
