Last night's Raw was so terrible, not just for last night, but for the near future, and for the future of the business as a whole.   

Or is that "hole."  

Taking the title off of Asuka to put it on Lacey to put it on Babyface Charlotte at Mania, booking the most boring Elimination Chamber match in history, and deciding not to follow up on the reveal that Alexa Bliss is a teleportation vampire.  

Raw is buried. In a hole.  

Everything sucks. Let's talk about it.

That Lacey rant is HOF worthy! Can’t wait for the night wrestling died part 321 when Lacy wins the belt off Asuka. Hope Alex is on the post show for that Ppv

I'm not a Lacey Evans fan, but I do feel the need to defend her on one point. I don't think she can be blamed 100 percent for that botched spot. If you go back 30 seconds in the match you'll see she hyperextended her knee when Charlotte got her knees up on Lacey's moonsault. So Lacey was clearly not just selling that she couldn't stand for a minute, that was legit. So the fact that she couldn't do the planned "run towards Charlotte for the big boot" on her bad leg and was instead propping herself up in the corner isn't really entirely her fault. And the production team doesn't do them any favors with the quick cuts and bad camera angles so if there was a missed strike I didn't see it but oh well, better than Nia actually connecting her fake blows. Someone needed to call an audible and there was a lack of communication from the referee about Lacey's lack of mobility in the moment. Accidents happen, especially given the nature of what they're trying to accomplish on live TV and an awkward moment on one random Raw isn't that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. Lacey's character and storyline are both awful, but unless we want to blame her for hurting her knee when landing on Charlotte's legs I think we can at least give her a pass on this one missed move. Whose fault was the botched "knees up on the moonsault" spot? I dunno. That might be more debatable, but we could just chalk it up to wrestling being hard to do and stuff happens.
