Last night was a promising episode of SmackDown.

Very promising.

But I know enough not to get my hopes up.

Cesaro looked great, and got a clean win! (At the expense of Daniel Bryan, which doesn't bode well for his Royal Rumble victory chances)

Nakamura got his babyface music back, cementing the turn! (But it still happened without any buildup whatsoever, and therefore, has no legs.)

Apollo Crews is getting a serious Heyman push! (But who knows when Vince will get tired of it and overrule Paul, negating everything)

Bayley's new talk-show segment was quirky and fun! (I give it a month before it's as dry and unfunny as MIzTV.)

Billie Kay is AMAZING as the new member of the Riott Squad! (So of course, they're already trying to break them up.)

Roman Reigns continues to be gold. (And that's it. There are no drawbacks to this.)

Everything (else) sucks. Let's talk about it.
