We still haven't heard who initiated the WWE/Zelina split, but we've gained reactions from all across the wrestling world, from every major company in America.

Most were looking for information themselves, as details are few and far between. Most everyone is shocked, but one person on Smackdown did tell us that if one person was going to stand their ground on the third party situation, they felt like it would be Zelina. However, we aren't sure that she actually did that.

Several AEW talent were surprised about the move, with one even noting that WWE doesn't realize what they have in Zelina, and they'd "lost their minds."

An IMPACT wrestler told us they would push for her to come back to the company as she has history there, and would be good for the rebirth of the Knockouts tag team titles

I don't want this to come across the wrong way. I'm a Zelina fan. She's killing it on twitch right now, and could very well continue to do so going forward. But her sub/viewership ration is insane. Before her big stream tonight, she was averaging something like 100-200 concurrent viewers, with occasional spikes depending on what's going on. To have nearly 15,000 subs off of that kind of viewership is unheard of. But it appears that a handful of big spenders have gifted 1000s of subs to help get her to that level. Same with Saraya. If for whatever reason those big spenders decide not to continue with those subs, the financial picture would change drastically. Could be the difference between making mid-five figures a month and making mid four figures a month. Again, I'm a fan and hope she continues to grow there. She talked tonight about reaching out to game streamers to collab and that's how you play the long game on twitch. Over time she absolutely has the talent and ability to match the big spender's income by growing her audience, natural sub count, etc. If she gets big enough twitch will offer a better split on the subs if they haven't already. Standard split is 50% or $2.50 a sub, the next tier split is about $3.50 a sub.

well she should certainly ride the wave for as long as she can. If things dry up on twitch, I'm sure she'll have no problems finding other revenue, but yeah networking with other big streamers is s good way to grow your audience over the long term and hopefully keep then.
