Hey guys. The wheels have been set in motion to move Select on-site to Fightful.com. Some of the things that I can tell you are coming

- Forums

- One price point for everything

- Free trials and rewards

- More early access content


We'll be taking some time to add our archives, but we want to know what specifically you want added. What features unique to Patreon do you want us to adopt? What new features do you want to see. Let us know!


For those asking "are you leaving patreon?" Yes, eventually. This is still the early stages.


"Why?" Patreon takes a cut, has limited sortability and organization, no forum support, and charges on the first of the month instead of every 30 days. Also, we can't do promotions or free trials on Patreon

It might be handy to have the ability to add tag questions for the Q&As, possibly? If over 100 questions have been asked and I'm cycling through them to make sure I don't double up on a question someone has already been asked, it'd be nice if I could just click on a tag like #Impact for example, and see any questions someone has tagged with that subject. Edit: sorry, just noticed you said thing unique to Patreon (d'oh!)

Would you guys be open to have a watch along feature? Ex: One Night Stand 2005

I would hope we will be able to go back and say listen to Q+A 4 May and 25 May (hypothetical date examples) I wouldn’t like to see just the last few hundred questions listed. Likewise Steven Jensen, I would like to go back and listen to his last few shows of 2019 (again hypothetical example) I think shows should be kept when you migrate to the new platform and they should be accessible and chronological. ??

The old forums on fightful.com were a good way to interact with the fightful writers so happy if you're doing a forum section! Love the srs aew/nxt review, the q and a sections and the list goes on especially. If aew dark decides to be an important show rather than a squash-fest I would love it if you could review that as part of your SRS aew/nxt show as well. Whatever you guys decide, sure its going to be awesome tho!

As someone who doesn't check the website frequently, I rely on the email notifications from patreon to know that there is a new select article up. If that functionality continues to exist even though we are off the patreon platform, I fully support the move!

As mentioned earlier, RSS feeds for audio content. Forums are nce, surprised the main site doesnt have one allready, especially with the disabing of comments on articles. Is there a fightful discord? if so what is it. I hope the price point doesnt increase too much, us Canadians are allready paying a higher dollar amount. Finally i'd like to see watch along type shows of retro ppvs or shows. I know SRS is probaly too busy to commit to something like that but perhaps if some of the other staff is willing to do it.

I like that Select select is going to be with fightful.com. I find myself opening all of my news and emails in chrome instead patreon . That Way I can read and watch in dark mode. But I am wondering will we still get the email notifications like we do with patreon?

We did. The disabling comments wasn't my call. We will still be the cheapest premium wrestling news service there is. There will be a Fightful Select discord, most likely -- SRS

I think it would be cool if the retro reviews were announced, maybe a week or more in advance, that way people could watch before hand if they wanted, and then the reviews were ran as live shows. I'd love to watch an old PPV and then see how busy the traffic is/superchats are. Maybe like once every other month/quarter or something. Also, how do I cash in on the rewards? I'm excited to get my Fightful sticker! Thanks guys!
