For those asking, there is no non-compete clause tied to the termination of Tessa Blanchard that we're aware of. With her contract set to expire on June 30, a non-compete beyond that would have been seen as an "extension," and she would have had to agreed to it.

Coming out of the last tapings, nearly everyone in Impact we spoke to didn't expect her to appear at Slammiversary. Most of the roster we'd heard from thought her contract extended into July. As far as those in Impact we spoke to go, some thought she'd get interest from AAA and WWE, but that AEW wouldn't try to bring her in despite having Tully Blanchard on the staff.

I guess WWE feels like they have enough top women that Tessa would have to fall in line?

She will end up in WWE

Damn there’s a lot you could do with Tessa creatively in WWE. Given the history involved, it would just seem right to me for Tessa and Charlotte to be together somehow

After AEW banned the Hogans and with Sammy being punished, it would be dumb for them to bring in Tessa and all the controversy that's followed her.

Could this be part of Charlottes booking Triple H was talking about ?

I'm not surprised to hear a lack of interest from AEW, they've had a few problematic people already and I imagine the people at the top are looking to avoid issues for a while.

why do people think that AEW wouldn't want her. also i really dont see her personality fitting in with the wwe structure and politics

Yep, reading is key folks. Though I do think that might be true.

I initially thought she would go to AEW but the more I think about it the more I realize that she needs to get her shit together and drop the attitude before anything else. She’s been in wwe before so they know what to expect and someone like Tessa isn’t going to job out nia jax or even Charlotte flair. She’s out to be the top female in the world regardless of where she is. If they do sign her I don’t see her being there very long.as much as I’d like to see her in AEW I think if they signed her the majority of their female roster would not approve especially big swole and shanna who both spoke out against Tessa in January, she would have to apologize in a big way before anything else
