NXT wrestlers were called upon for three straight 12 hour days this week, but the NXT tapings weren't the end of it. Fightful learned that when Performance Center recruits were called upon for the Velveteen Dream vs. Adam Cole match. The recruits were asked to show up at 7, but the downpour in the area kept delaying things. As it turns out, most were waiting around until midnight before they actually filmed the In Your House match

I wish I could say I was surprised but this company makes some of the weirdest decisions

This feels a lot more like slave labor with each passing second.

I’m sure they were paid. I get that It sucks but I work like this on a regular basis. It is what it is. Let’s not make a mountain out of a molehill

Well it's not surprising they did that, that's how it's been recent but hopefully things change..

They were not paid additionally thus far. The filmings were three straight days of 12 hours -- no sitting, packed lunches. They got scolded for sitting. Many then had to wrestle Wednesday. I'm echoing the sentiments of the roster.

I hope none of the wrestlers get a covid infection, but I would be very concerned given that the WWE has avoided testing to the same level as AEW or UFC. If someone without symptoms gets sick, essentially all the other wrestlers , the backstage crew and the nxt wrestlers would all be exposed now? If someone gets sick....this policy will get a lot of attention on how limited it is, especially compared to UFC and AEW.
