WWE's locker room has been buzzing about the re-signing of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

Fightful was able to confirm Jon Alba's report this weekend that The Good Brothers combo have re-signed with WWE for five years. Beyond that we're told that the former WWE Raw Tag Team Champions signed for a big money deal, even compared to some of the figures going around recently with new re-signings.

We've reached out to several names within the company, including one that hadn't even heard that the team had re-signed. That same name was sure that they'd be gone just a week or two prior when we spoke with them, and noted that New Japan Pro Wrestling and other companies had already showed interest.

The feeling that we got from wrestlers we spoke to wasn't one of optimism, but rather one of saying they couldn't really fault Gallows and Anderson for setting themselves up for the future. One wrestler said "more confident in this company than I am. I wouldn’t hold my breath as far as tag teams getting an opportunity."

Both Gallows and Anderson seem well liked based on the names that we spoke to, with one backstage employee particularly putting over their work in the gym, despite the fact that they weren't being booked.

Either way, it looks like the Good Brothers aren't going anywhere, and they're back in the fold with AJ Styles as The Club.

All depends on why they resigned. If they did it for the financial security for themselves and their families, then I think they'll be very happy with the deal. If they signed hoping for a renewed push of tag team wrestling and the opportunity to put on great matches, then I think they'll be very disappointed. First and foremost, it is the wrestling BUSINESS, so they have to do what's best for them. They obviously think WWE is the best fit for them, so I don't see how anyone can begrudge that.
