I started following Deonna Purazzo on Twitter and her and Marty seem real close. Could this be a reason Marty jumps to wwe regardless of what Elite do. As he was noticeably absent from the iniatal announcements that they would be staying together wherever they decide to go?

Who would you book as McGregors next fight? I liked James idea of Cerrone but id like to see a Khabib rematch if McGregor would be a bit more attack minded as i felt he was so worried about Khabibs take down and rightly so, it wasnt the usual McGregor whose looking for blood particularly early on.

Given how stiff Brock has been on occasion, do you think he will be told to go easy on Daniel Bryan in terms of how he handles potential danger to his neck? Or do you think Bryan is the kind of guy who would tell him to go full throttle regardless?

Has the growth of Fightful started to match Jimmy's original expectations at all? I know Select was introduced to help offset some costs but in terms of numbers of viewers, site visits, subscriptions, etc. does it make for positive reading in Jimmy's eyes given how young the site is compared to many others?

Which NXT stars could you see debuting in the Royal Rumble if any? What potential standoffs or brief pairings would you like to see between NXT and main roster during the rumble itself?

It seems commonly understood that NXT is operating “in the red,” but that’s ok because it’s “developmental.” Isn’t the real problem that they don’t cut people? Folks like Angelo Dawkins and Kona Reeves (hell, even Aaliyah) have been around for years collecting paychecks while adding no monetary value. On a related note, what do you think the ripple effects of the EVOLVE roster shuffling. I am excited that this could be a more widespread practice. HHH already has a positive relationship with OTT and Progress, there’s a potential relationship with WxW and NOAH. Wouldn’t it be a great step to ship off Heavy Machinery, which sorta stuck in mud in NXT (below the title scene, still over live to Progress and let them have a 6-12 month run there? They could try different gimmicks, work different styles, open to hot crowds due to some freshness. Let’s send Raul Mendoza (who is an INCREDIBLE worker) to OTT to main event against Jordan Devlin – that’s a match with a 4 star floor. Based on the latest conference call and his behavior that last few years (as described above building relationships), it seems like HHH is less interested in buying out and stomping into dust the competition, and more in controlling and restructuring other companies to create a pathway to NXT/main roster for the top guys and to use the other talent (like this EVOLVE move) to resuscitate or prop up smaller promotions, presumably while profit sharing in some form. Is this accurate? On the same token – did you have a chance to hear the Gabe Sapolsky with Rich and Joe on Voices of Wrestling? Very good interview – Gabe straight up said EVOLVE was dying, barely selling tickets with the latest loss of talent and saturation of the market. Yet with the HHH connection, Gabe was able to access a new batch of talent to fill out cards and sell tickets, create buzz, remake the brand. Are we heading toward a twisted future where HHH is actually . . . Messiah of the Indies? He signs all the top talent, hell, even middling talent, but farms them back out to favored indie promos which otherwise would die and lets them use that talent to sell tickets? Gabe STRONGLY implied that Montez/Dawkins, Ohno, Cole, the talent exchange folks were still being paid by WWE. So in a f’ked up way, HHH is subsidizing the indies and giving them talent! EVOLVE probably never affords Adam Cole, right? But HHH can lend his buddy Gabe dudes like that, Aleister Black, Mustafa Ali. We all agree that 205 Live, NXT, NXT UK, EVOLVE, Progress – the whole HHH mini-empire is massively more entertaining that Raw/Smackdown on a regular basis, right? Something for everyone, and there’s a ton of varied talent. Also related: I think it was also VoW that remarked that HHH was assembling his own “braintrust” of wrestling minds. Gabe Sapolsky (EVOLVE and the PC); William Regal (NXT); Adam Pearce (205); Paul Heyman. I assume Jim Smallman & Glen Joseph for European talent. Do you foresee HHH using this same braintrust to boot Dunn and other Vince cronies? Seems like those dudes are MUCH more in-touch with what fans want than old farts Vince leans on (is) Jimmy Van has often suggested an “offseason” for talent, giving them a few months off every year for health/maintenance and to give them an instant boost upon return, since everyone gets a pop when they return. Could “brand switching”, between say, 205 Live, NXT, NXT UK (or even the related indies) be a version of that? Someone like a Dakota Kai is almost too good as a gate keeper to see moving up in NXT, but on the NXT UK brand, she could be elevated with different crowds. How would you evaluate Candice Lerae’s work in NXT (mic and ring) thus far? Are you looking forward to heel Candice and Johnny? Progress sold about 6K tickets for their biggest show ever, Wembley. Could NXT UK top that if they did a Takeover: UK as suggested by HHH? Have you watched Zach Sabre Jr vs A-Kid from White Wolf Wrestling in Spain (free on youtube)? Gotta be a MOTY contender, right? Seems up your alley, a high pace, lots of grappling mixed with some flippy shit. Fightful business: I got into Fightful because I heard you do an interview with Les Moore on Talking Sheet. I see you have positive relationships with guys like Robbie at Barstool, Justin Labarr, Ryan Satin. Do you think collaborating, doing interviews with other websites would help grow Fightful? I’m rooting for your success, showing my dollars; I see around 77 Patrons, but a VoW (also subscriber) racks up 365 launching after you guys. Is it just that they’ve been around longer, is there something you can adopt from them? Can we get SRS doing guest spots on different platforms? How is Fightful the only place that streams the HHH media call? Folks sleeping on this? Have you . . . mended the fences with WWE so you can talk about “what happened”?
