(Note: This was a satire article that hit the cutting room floor)

Things aren't going so smoothly for Stokely Hathaway after being booted from EVOLVE/WWN, but he wouldn't let you think that.

Hathaway got passed over high profile managerial gigs for Bobby Lashley, Authors of Pain, and was rejected in his attempts to become the fourth member of Bell Biv Devoe. However, it would appear the standout manager has other plans in mind...

Sort of.

"It seemed like the right move to make after leaving WWN/EVOLVE. Busta Rhymes said it best: "That if I ain't gon' be part of the greatest. I gotta be the greatest myself."

This is Hathaway discussing plans for his alleged Bobby Womack Championship Wrestling. Of course, the late Womack has nothing to do with pro wrestling, but did pen such music hits as "It's All Over Now" from the Rolling Stones, and his own songs like "If You Think You're Lonely Now."

That hasn't stopped Hathaway, however. He's on the hunt for talent. As things stand, he's on the outs with WWN and has no access to their talent, but has some other ideas.

"Sadly, Bobby Womack is no longer with us, BUT I am looking for sponsorship to help with a Bobby Womack hologram. If you are reading this and have 300k to throw away, DM me please. Anyway, talent. Austin Theory, D'Lo Brown, Tevin Campbell, Brody King, Chuck Taylor, Lou Ferrigno, MJF, Dwayne Johnson, and Jimmy Lloyd. You know, the new guys on the scene," Hathaway tells us. When I asked if Tony Womack, former MLB All-Star would be involved, Hathaway said "He can do ring crew. Next question." He wasn't familiar with the former Diamondbacks second baseman until I filled him in.

With Hathaway targeting an April date for his show, which is likely to do really well and not fail at all, he has no concerns about WWE trying to piggyback off of his event for their annual WrestleMania show. In fact, he welcomes it. Especially if he can work out a talent exchange.

"I’d love to work together! Imagine Matthew Riddle challenging for The Last Soul Man Championship and me beating him in 5 minutes. How wrestling should be," he said.

As for how Hathaway plans to finance the show now that he's jobless in professional wrestling, he does have some heavy hitters in mind.

"I reached out to Will Smith. I was going to put the Light Heavyweight title on Jaden to, you know, move things along. No word back yet," Hathaway told Fightful.com

Will Hathaway's show be a "Party Starter," or will the wrestling world tell Hathaway to "Pump Ya Brakes" due to the absence of Smith? Those are the names of his songs, in case you're too cool to know. Either way, look for BWCW. Definitely, probably, maybe coming in April of 2019.

Editor's note: This is clearly not satire in any way, shape or form. Stokely Hathaway has super serious plans to make this happen, and you should be taking it seriously as well.
