Do you think the Saudi government will just let wwe back out? Vince might have taken on the US government but this is a different political ball game and also is this now the 1st case where a human life has caused Vince to outright cancel a show rather then just seeing something through out of greed or publicity?

Would this mean wwe has to pick up the tab for however much the Saudi government would have paid certain talent to appear, do they rebound storylines to Survivor Series now? SmackDown 1000 could use that AJ vs Bryan title match to add extra interest considering how little promotion they’ve given it or booked it like they would any other show compared to if RAW hits a milestone.

Do you think NWA will become more of its own entity within the next 12 months? Lagana does great videos and Cody helped to bring them plenty more eyes, but they are still reliant on appearing on other company shows: will they get their own show or should that even be a goal right now?

A different take on the Saudi deal "debacle." My assumption now is that WWE likes money, this deal is for ALOT of money, and so they charge forward unabated, eating the temporary PR hit, maybe donating some money to some cause, and then everyone forgets because there will be another news item shortly to distract everyone . . . but lets say it goes badly. Say it's worse than cancellation - the FOX people start making uncomfortable phone calls. Who eats shit on this? George Barrios, who handles the investor calls? Michelle Wilson? HHH? We know its not Vince . . . right?

Is there an argument to be made that the NXT (and UK)+ Mae Young Classic roster (including the non-contracted wrestlers) is actually better than the main roster (Raw + Smackdown)? Shirai, Storm, and Satomura alone could probably print stars in any combination.

This past week or so we had the Kings of Wrestling "reunion" at a Florida NXT house show. They're getting Matt Riddle's debut match (and matches). They're getting the horsewomen vs. Shirai/Yim/Sane. Is it just me, or does all of that sound a hell of a lot more fun than anything on Raw, smackdown . . . or even NXT TV?

I can't be the only one who sees NJPW not-so-subtly hedging against The Elite leaving by inserting Jay White at the top of "Bullet Club OG" and sliding in Robbie Eagles and (earlier this year) Taiji Ishimori in as well, right? That actually seems like a hell of a fun faction - and they'll probably get other folks from various islands to join up to . . . Jeff Cobb, reportedly working more ROH/NJPW next year, plus Toa Henare. Heck, even putting Gedo under the Bullet Club banner seems like a move to re-establish the brand, free of The Elite. My question is . . . where does this leave poor Chase Owens? Can we get him Onnit, shave off about 30 lbs, and get that IWGP US Title run we've all been not waiting for from the REAL Crown Jewel?

As a Warriors fan, I am terrified that Steve Kerr will push Bob Myers to sign Joakim Noah and give him way more minutes than he should, just like Anderson Varejao. Please talk me out off the ledge. Is there a worse player that could swing a championship?

Have you heard anything about Cody/Bucks angling for booking power in ROH during their contract negotiations? I mean, we already talked about Delirious being garbage, they can't be any worse, and they'll probably be much better. If you're ROH, do you gave into that demand and basically put the entire company on the BTE Crew? (I say . . . hell yes)

WWE "could" sign the Elite by dumping truckloads of money on them, but from a real financial standpoint, isn't it entirely stupid to pay them what they're going to be asking for just to have them work the damn Florida loop and maybe 5 takeovers a year? Kenny has worked around around 40k at Wrestle Kingdom, the Bucks are printing money from Hot Topic, Funko, etc . . . if HHH shows them the money, it has to be either direct to main roster OR . . . they're the basis to go to Fox and get NXT on FS1 or equivalent, and start touring for real as a third brand, right? I mean, what is the point of paying The Elite to sell out 400 seat buildings.

Flip side of The Elite banding together for contract negotiations (allegedly, at least) - do you think Vince/WWE might be hesitant to give in to this, despite the splash it would make. It's only 5 guys, but it's still multiple wrestlers working together to negotiate a better deal for the collective. Could it be uncomfortably close to "union-like behavior" that WWE might want to push back against them coming in together for bigtime money?

Any chance we get more WWE/NXT crossover like Evolution? A survivor series match with Ronda, Shayna, Jessamyn, and Marina against Kairi/Bayley/Charlotte/Asuka (or whatever mix you want) seems to book itself

This is the Oct 14 Global Wars card for Rev Pro: Ishii vs Suzuki for the HW title; LIJ (evil/sanada) vs Ring Kampf (Thatcher/WALTER); Kushida vs David Starr for the CW title; Goto vs ZSJ; Naito vs Chris Brooks; Ospreay vs Ridgeway; El Phantasmo vs Rocky Romero; Kojima vs Mark Davis. Isnt this a better card than ANY Ring of Honor card the past 2 years? it seems like this has been a trend of Rev Pro getting way more out of its NJPW relationship than ROH and i’ve been wondering why. ROH has more resources and been around longer, but nothing they do feels special, even when infusing njpw talent. Here’s what i think it is: 1) Rev Pro is getting NJPW vs NJPW high level singles matches for Rev Pro belts, where as ROH did ... beer city bruiser vs goto. 2) rev Pro has a better roster than ROH!!! Walter and David starr have been built up in europe, across Rev pro and elsewhere, plus Ospreay and Zsj always turn up for those cards. is there any ROH talent as good as ZSJ? As over as ZSJ? Would you agree with this take and what the hell can ROH do?
