I’m pretty sure you could run a pretty good one hour TV show every week with this crew alone – how the hell is NXT going to maximize his women’s division?  Isn’t this the biggest argument for a 2 hour NXT?

Am I crazy to think that this collection of female talent is collectively better than either of the Raw or SDL divisions? 

2) I thought Lanza from VoW made a great point that I’ve never heard before – gymnasts are a great source of potential because there are in fantastic shape, necessarily have fantastic athleticism/body control/coordination, and have little earning potential in the field after they get past the Olympics, because there isn’t like, big time gymnastics on TV

Do you think he’s onto something that this area should be mined for talent, and what other fields offer similar advantages?  Seems like MMA and pro wrestling scouts already have all the bigtime collegiate wrestlers and former football players on their radar

3)  Across Raw, SDL, and NXT, the tag team divisions have been woefully disorganized and cold.  It’s particularly glaring in NXT, when we were previously treated to amazing feuds among #DIY, Revival, American Alpha, etc.   I hold little hope that Vince, who’s never cared for tag team wrestling, will ever devote the requisite energy into them, but what can NXT do to heat things up?  

Will the upcoming Undisputed/British Strong Style feud starting at the UK Tournament be enough to fire things up?

4)  Have you caught any Best of the Super Juniors?  I thought Night 13 (both blocks in action, with the entire field separated by essentially 2 points) was one of the best cards of the year.  Nothing below 3.5 stars, although maybe no 5 star matches.  Just 8 good-great singles matches and no fluff.

5) What are the pros and cons when you compare development/training in NJPW with WWE’s PC-NXT path?  It seems like WWE puts an emphasis on character/gimmick work, plus weight room training to get the physique looking good, but PC folks don’t learn . . . “wrestling”  Timing, selling, structuring a match, all the things that make a collection of moves a coherent match. OTOH, NJPW Young Lions have a restricted move set and are forced to learn how to work a match emotionally and convey a story without anything more than basic tools.  Is this a fair description, and whats the ideal?

6)  In an era of “cool” heels . . . who are the best “pure” heels today?  I have to applaud Ciampa, Samoa Joe, and the Suzuki-gun guys like Desperado and Kanemaru.

Shouldn’t NJPW have held off, at minimum, the Jericho and Bucks matches to the Cow Palace show?  Dominion is basically Wrestle Kingdom level loaded

Have you or jimmy thought of expanding coverage to other promotions like a all japan, ddt, cmll, Noah, and indies like evolve and progress?

8)  Watching BTE made me think - would the Young Bucks actually travel LESS if they went to WWE (even NXT)?
