Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned the following details ahead of tonight’s edition of NXT. Please be cognizant of those who do not want spoilers.

- FrAxiom vs MSK is set to be the main event of tonight’s show.

- Joe Hendry is set for a promo tonight, and is expected to be a ‘goodbye’ promo, however it was not fully rehearsed. We haven’t heard if Hendry is finishing up his run in NXT or not, but we are told Hendry has recently scaled back his work with his own promotion, Discovery Wrestling.

- Trick Williams vs Pete Dunne is set to open the show.

- Ethan Page vs Oro Mensah is set to take place around halfway through the show.

- Oba Femi is present at the show, but he is not scheduled to compete tonight.

- There was a general sense of excitement for NXT returning to the road, but it is unknown as of this writing if it will be a permanent change.

- Those we spoke to expect both the October 1st and 8th live NXT’s to feature more main roster talent than just Randy Orton and CM Punk. The October 8th edition will go up against AEW Dynamite title Tuesday in the same time slot.
