Another WWE Summerslam SCOOPS THREAD

• The Bron Breakker/Sami Zayn match went shorter than originally expected. It was allotted for ten minutes.

• WWE were very happy with Jelly Roll's performance and appearance at the show.

• As is tradition, Cody Rhodes topped the internal WWE merchandise shirts for the Superstore and the venue.

• We're told Roman Reigns didn't crack the top three, but they're expecting that to change upon his return.

• Contrary to speculation online, there was never a plan or an audible called from an original plan to feature Jimmy Uso or Jey Uso in the match.

• This was noted by Brandon Thurston on Twitter, but recent WWE press conferences have featured access for some who purchased On Location ticket packages.

• Talent and staff that we talk to believe that Jacob Fatu is okay. We're constantly working for updates.

• In an update on the Rob Feinstein situation and him appearing, several talent notified WWE that he was lurking around the lobbies and that he was on screen. Feinstein procured a ticket from a friend, who had been comped, so WWE had no knowledge he'd be attending, much less on camera. He was not given backstage access.

• "Hawk Tuah Girl" Hailey Welch was at the show. Also, Diamond Dallas Page, and numerous legends who had been booked for WrestleCon were also in attendance at Summerslam. Frank The Clown, Noelle Foley, and numerous GCW wrestlers were there as well.

• We'd noted that numerous WWE talent not booked for the show were in town over the weekend. Chelsea Green, Michin, Baron Corbin were among them.

• We have reached out to Cody's dog, Pinkerton, on being called a jobber. We've yet to get a response.

"Ok well first of all he asks that you use his FULL name: Yeti Pinkerton (the first). And second he says no one's gonna be laughing soon when he announces his next big thing! He's gonna get his day in the sun!"
