Details on Rhio/Delta/WWE rumors (Patreon)

Rhio is not on her way to WWE, at least for now.

Since WWE Clash At The Castle last month, WWE fans have questioned if WWE were pursuing the signing of staple of the UK scene, Rhio, after the Progress Women’s World Champion was invited as part of a group of talent that visited the PLE, which we previously reported.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has asked around in the UK scene and in NXT about possible interest from WWE and if any deal was discussed at Clash At The Castle. According to sources close to Rhio, no deal was offered or discussed at the event, nor has there been any other communication on that. We are also told that Rhio would be open to an offer from WWE, should one come in and already has a US visa, with plans for a stint in the US coming up.

Those we spoke to in NXT noted that those on the brand are focused on the incoming signings of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer for the time being, but noted Rhio would not have been invited by WWE to Clash At The Castle if there was not interest. Rhio has previously wrestled for NXT UK back in 2019 in a battle royal. 

Another name that has been going around with rumors of her signing with WWE is the Australian powerhouse Delta Brady, who recently finished up her final dates in Australia before heading overseas, with the assumption by many that she is signing with WWE. In asking around with NXT sources, Brennan was only able to confirm that Delta did impress during the Australian tryouts prior to Elimination Chamber earlier this year. Those Brennan spoke to in the Australian scene are of the belief that Delta has signed with the company, but we have not been able to confirm if she has officially signed with the company as of this writing.
