Heavy Spoilers for tonight's NXT (Patreon)

Tonight's NXT looks to progress some crossing of the line.

You could say that NXT have become habitual line steppers at this point, because word within the company there will be multiple upcoming crossovers, based on those that Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select spoke to. Corey Brennan reported this past weekend that Joe Hendry of TNA was expected to be factored in heavily moving forward, and he was featured on the NXT commercial on WWE Raw.

Sources Sean Ross Sapp spoke to were over the moon about the reception and performances associated with the NXT Heatwave show, and noted the card looked different than what the general plan was months ago. Maintaining that buzz as the company heads into the CW era of NXT is important to them.

While we can't confirm that Motor City Machine Guns have signed anywhere, we have heard that there had been conversations between them and major companies, as we outlined on the Select Discord a few weeks ago.

Regarding Giulia, Marigold sources told Fightful's Corey Brennan that she was not cleared as of this weekend, so if they are to be believed. She recently got her clearance.

Since running this article, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Joe Hendry is at tonight's show, and was at rehearsals. As of this evening he was planned to wrestle, possibly in the main event. Please be cognizant of those who wish to avoid spoilers (that means you, engagement accounts).

Another element discussed of late has been the utilization of a ref cam, which could make it's way on screen soon, per Sapp.

Earlier this evening, Fightful Select heard that a faction could be popping up in NXT that hasn't appeared before. We're told that it's the Rascalz, which consists of Wes Lee, former NXT and current TNA talent Zach Wentz, and TNA talent Trey Miguel. Sean Ross Sapp reported that it was a possibility in June, and that WWE's stance on Wentz appearing had softened well over a year ago. Fightful will provide updates.
