WWE talent gained praise for Money in the Bank week (Patreon)

A WWE women's star has been gaining praise behind the scenes.

This past weekend, Chelsea Green went into WWE's Money in the Bank as number two in the BetOnline odds, but left number one in the hearts of many in defeat. While she'd already maintained a positive reputation backstage, several within WWE reached out to Fightful over the weekend to sing her praises.

One area of particular interest was Chelsea Green's promotion of the match itself. WWE officials Sean Ross Sapp spoke with said that not only did she do local media, but she headed to Toronto mid-week to do it. In addition, she heavily promoted the event and match itself on social media.

Hardly a surprising situation, but also we were told that Green was very comfortable taking the bump to end the match and treated it like a "no big deal" situation. Those we heard from were very happy how it all unfolded and said that she took the spot as safely as possible.
