AEW Notes

• Hayden Backlund, a Black Label Pro regular, was in the AEW Collision segment with Chris Jericho

• Lady Frost is working to trademark "murder gymnastics"

• Several wrestlers said they weren't sure if they'd have matches on the show until this week.

• EJ Nduka finally appeared on AEW TV on Saturday's Collision. He's been under AEW contract for over a year.

• We heard AEW were happy with how the Collision brawl between Swerve and Ospreay ended up.

• We're told there are some unannounced signings that have not appeared on AEW or ROH TV yet. There's no word on if they'll be popping up tonight.

• We're told the "unannounced signings" don't include Kamille, who has been with the company for months. There have been discussions and materials prepared to bring her in, though we're not sure to what extent.

Forbidden Door/Other news

• We don't have any "underdog lock" picks for our BetOnline AG odds, but if we had to go with one underdog, it'd be Orange Cassidy. We consider Swerve and Danielson as lock picks.

• We're told that AEW has had a general outline of the top matches they want at AEW All In for quite some time. As of early this month, Ricochet/Will Ospreay wasn't one of them.

• Jim Ross has been battling health issues of late. We're told that he was even banged up ahead of traveling in for the show. Ross primarily works PPV shows.

• For those asking, Ricochet and Natalya are still technically under contract to WWE. Alleged Fightful informant Dijak is not. Ricochet is now on the alumni section of WWE.com

• Several AEW talent and staff came to New York early to enjoy the city, even some without media obligations.

UPDATES:

• Dijak is backstage. We've not been told if he would debut. Dijak in fact did not tell us either one of these.

• Jim Ross was seen in a cast/sling this weekend.
