Fightful has learned a bit of an update on Megan Bayne.

After finishing up with Stardom and returning to the United States, Fightful posted a report that creative pitches were being made for Megan Bayne. At the time, it appeared that she was still with All Elite Wrestling, but we’re told that hasn’t been the case for quite a while.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed with sources close to Bayne that she’s currently a free agent and eligible to appear anywhere she wants. However, AEW has made recent contact with Bayne and the two sides have engaged in talks. We haven’t learned whether or not Bayne is expected to land in the company, but there have been discussions, as well as some creative pitches.

This is so bizarre. There has to be more to the story.

I want to know why Kamille hasn't been used. Just to keep her from WWE?

Pretty much because she had a NXT offer on the table and she decided to go to AEW

So there is still confusion on this, and I don't think people get some of the facts still, so here is a timeline of what went on in the last 2 years. She wrestled on AEWDark & DarkElevation a few times in the summer of 2021. Then at the very end of 2021 the last show of the year in Jacksonville, she won her first match on Dark Elevation beating Leila Gray, an eventual signee herself. I don't know if she signed then or not, but she won and I believe she came out with her own godesses who walked her to the ring. In Jan she again wrestled and won on AEWDark, this time it was in Orlando where they used to tape lots of matches for Dark. Once more in Feb, she wrestled and won on Dark, again in Orlando at another set of tapings. This was her last match for over a year, as she either hurt herself here or in training. So she signed at some point at either the very end of 2021, or early 2022, as she went 3-0 and she had her own entrance and everything. Now 14 months later she returned in April of 2023, in June 2023, she wrestled on a AEW Rampage tapings, but it was a dark match, teaming with Emi against Willow and Maki Itoh. I wish that match was on Rampage, it was probably really fun. The next month she heads to Stardom in July where she stays for the rest of 2023 into 2024 where she came back to the US in Feb. This is her timeline, if Sean wants to fill in any of the dots, he can if he knows go right ahead, but it seems kind of clear what happened here if you think about it. She was obviously a very talented but raw wrestler at the end of 2021 when she got her first win. They at some point signed her to a tier deal at which point she soon destroyed her knee. She came back and wreslted once on a Rampage taping and probably at that point or soon after she was contacted by Stardom to come over. She went to AEW as a signed talent and they agreed to let her go wrestle in Stardom. Now what happened at the end of 2023 into 2024 is the mystery. Any person who has eyes could have seen what a star she became in Stardom, so why didn't AEW use her as soon as possible in Feb of 2024? If I want to make an ass of myself and guess, I would say either AEW was waiting for the right moment to debut a legit future star, and her contract ended at some point. Or, Megan knew her deal was coming up and decided rather than work on the tiered deal she signed over 2 years ago, she was worth alot more now, and she would wait until her deal ran out, to get a better one, from AEW, or anyone else who saw what she was. This is my guess with the actual facts of her matches in AEW and the timeline thrown in. Goodluck to her, she is a special talent wherever she signs, selfishly I hope it's with AEW.

Just to point out that fightful created the condition. They reported she signed and then reported contrary to other reports(they made) she isn’t signed Such a weird post, 9/10 times fightful isn’t like this
