Hangman Page will ride again soon.

The former AEW World Champion Adam “Hangman” Page has been out of action since early March and AEW Revolution. Page has not been injured, and was out of action for personal reasons, and had contractually obligated time off to tend to. Prior to that, he’d been engaged in a lengthy feud with Swerve Strickland, who has since became AEW Champion in his absence.

After what will end up being nearly four months out of action, we’re told that Hangman Page is poised for a return. We don’t have a date nailed down, but it’s expected to within the next month, likely by early July. Thus far we’ve not heard of creative plans for Hangman, though he was expected to continue as a heel.

We're not told if Hangman's absence is added to his current contract or if it was just worked in, but we're told that the absence wasn't a surprise and both sides knew it was coming.

Fightful Select mentioned in our Q&A show that Hangman was always expected to miss this amount of time.

Despite Dynamite being near his home this week, we have not heard he's planned to be at the show.

It still doesn't feel right for him to be a heel when the reason for him going after Swerve, which involved Swerve going after Page's family, is entirely justified.

Now we just need Bandido healed so we can get Hangman, Bounty Hunter & Bandido aka Team Multicultural Cowboys.
