Wes Lee returned on the April 30th edition of NXT, confronting North American Champion Oba Femi after his successful title defense vs Ivar. In the moment, Lee would leap from the barricade to the ring steps, signifying he was healthy.

Fightful Select's Corey Brennan has learned from NXT sources that Lee has been cleared to return to the ring. At one point, it was thought Wes would miss over a year at minimum due to his injury, with retirement being a real possibility.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp had been told that NXT would have plenty of star power heading into NXT's move to the CW.
