Hello all, TD here.

As of March 2nd, the update's count is at 2,502 statics, 83 animations, and 57,311 words.

That means we have added 148 statics, 17 animations, and 4,582 words to the project over the last two weeks.

I would be the second one to tell you, the first being my beloved friend and silently suffering render slave GIL, that we maaaaaaaaay have gone a touch too far with the current scene.

As of yet, we are still working toward its glorious conclusion, with our previous estimate of an 80 animation update actually looking more like 90+. There are a couple of reasons for this, but the reassuring one is that GIL and I are having fun chipping away at the scene. This is a rare "smutting" that he and I are 110% in sync on, and we are having a fantastic time with the nitty-gritty of it. So much so that I may be taking advantage of that enthusiasm to bleed the juicy goods out of him.

You see, we set aside time every night to stream the game and review the day's work, and I am always positively giddy and grinning ear-to-ear by the end of it. In turn, that elation gets funneled back into the work, resulting in one hell of a feedback loop. I can only tell you how gratifying it feels to see the things you thought actually LIVING AND BREATHING on screen.

I hope you'll get a sense of that love when you view this branch.

Mind you, we are still working hard to get the update out this month. The ball is in play, and GIL has the final sprint before him to mix metaphors, but while he's busting his ass, I've set myself to staring down the tasks I usually reserve for our interim week before launch. With a bit of luck and a lot of elbow grease, I'm hoping we'll make it.

Thank you for update after update, enabling us to indulge our imaginations. Have a lovely Sunday, everyone.
