Dev Diary 64 (Patreon)

Hello, chums. TD here, bringing you the next installation in our critically acclaimed developer diary series.

As of November 4th, Chapter 4 Update 4 sits at 865 static images, 31 animations, and 21,475 words. 

That enumerates out 163 new statics, 16 animations, and 5,214 words since the last dev diary on October 15th. 

We hit some speed bumps over the past couple of weeks, and our productivity in terms of numbers reflects that. The animations required were more complicated than usual, with GIL having to learn and polish the kinematics of three bodies in motion, but the primary snag over the last week and a half came from my own end. My excitement for this scene was so high that I hit something of a creative quagmire and froze up a couple of times when I had to wrestle with some decisions. It's crazy to think this scene was set up 6 updates ago and has been sitting in my head for 2(!) years, waiting to get out.

But at the end of the day, and significantly owed to GIL's patience, we have a scene we're proud of and have moved into the great beyond. We're past what I consider the halfway point of the update. Things have finally gotten rolling on Felicia's long-awaited content - a payoff to yet another scene set up 2 years ago!

Man, time's a real bitch.
