Hey, for the record I do enjoy your commentary so the pauses are actually good if not for the sync issue. I hope you find some solution that still lets you pause. I sure would hate to miss any of Raphael's great jokes! Here's my thoughts on a solution. Re-syncing is pretty easy as long as we have picture or sound to sync with. You could just pause less and have us resync a maximum of 5 times in a movie. It's only annoying if it's more than that. Or, you can pause all you want and just edit out your discussion as if you never paused. That's a third version, full movie but edited. That way if people want to sacrifice your commentary for the convenience of staying synced they can do that. Giving us the choice is always good. But the downside is extra editing. Naturally the best solution is to show the full movie on-screen. Some people continue to get away with that. You probably would too. But you know the risk of copyright.

Thank you for this … I think we’re a bit weary of copyright so we will go with the timer and the sound, but we will definitely try and pause less unless something crazy happens or we have a long discussion 😊😊
