I think Nikki and Bouboo had broken up by this time and Yibo and Lay knew so they were like "should we ask"? Actually the translations were possibly not helpful wref to Han Geng's comments about Nikki. He actually said her choreo felt like something was missing and it didn't touch him. But the translations said it didn't impress him...I think. about that M All stars (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0VismZVSsg) I didn't know about the story so ....but anyway trix was there yeah I actually really liked Lay sticking with krump regardless of the music style. Think it really shows his love for the style and it takes confidence and fluency to choose to do krump on other music styles and he did really well. I do think overall I agree that Yibo won though, since what he did fit the music better as a whole. Props to Henry and Han Geng for giving their all but I guess experience counts in the end and they just weren't quite as comfortable as the other two...

Your idea where everyone can get called out makes a lot of sense, would really reduce the number of people leftover at the end too. I forgot how long this challenge was that it took 2 weeks to fully get through. It still very much felt like an introduction to the contestants and now we can finally get into the more fun weekly challenges where groups and teams are formed 🔥 So excited for you to get into next week's episode, this group vs group challenge is historically the 24 hour choreography challenge from previous seasons. I think there's still a very tight time constraint but I suspect they gave everyone a bit more time because they saw there were a lot of language barriers. It's always been one of my favourite segments, gives me just a bit of ABDC nostalgia! I can't remember how good the calls were but I wouldn't be surprised if there are some that are hard to agree with, since it'll be the captains doing the voting haha

Thank you for the clarification with that! Much appreciated!! I also really like that he challenged himself within Krump to various styles of music, because that trains fluency immensely! The only thing was that Wang Yibo expressed more variety of vocabulary within each track and he held his own on the Krump track so it makes sense why he was able to pull out the win!

Bless the Captains having to vote these..... I will honestly take that over how the judges have done in the past with some of these calls... THAT'S What killed me at the end haha! I can't wait to see what each group brings to the table because it's going to be soooo freaking fun just based off of what they showed in the preview!!
