im JUST starting to remember this tbz rtk lore LOLL and what i’m thinking/kind of remember talking abt is basically tbz were split into two sides of one kingdom (one that rebelled/one that just stood & listened) and basically they were against each other (hence the big prop part that had one side w a red cloth & one with blue (the dancers also wore these for capes)) & i think eventually they came together during the we’re catching fire part to defeat the evil person who stole the crown and became the ruler.

i think the very beginning was definitely a backstory moment, so that’s why the painting scene had it etched into the wine glasses. they’re showing the current setting and rule they live under! i think more obvious costuming would have definitely helped convey this better!

also do not get me started on kingdom legendary war LOLLL!! i think tbz performed well, but the issue was from the jump the show was basically a “who can out-do tbz” (perpetuated by mnet obviously, not the groups). a few times in kingdom, props and stunts were done that imo just felt thrown in. also, instead of looking at the performances for what they were, a lot of the “anonymous judges” (once again not the groups) just sat and compared to rtk which i get, but it felt like none of the critiques were anything other than “you did better in rtk”. that also annoyed me because tbz we’re doing a whole new storyline 😭

Glad you liked ONF performance, I actually started being interested in ONF with the cover of Everybody and ended falling for them with THE WE MUST LOVE (I literally like this arrangement better than the original one 😂). Now i'm 100% fan of them. One thing I really love, ONF made a bunch of videos with their behind during ROAD TO KINGDOM, you have recording behind, practice behind but the most interesting one is the Performance Commentary with their main dancer Yuto or U, he talk about some of the process or littles details in their performance (for example I really liked his commentary about LIGHT ON their introduction because they were little thing/details I didn't saw or missed, and i was like "Ohhh they were more details then I thought). THE WE MUST LOVE also have Music commentary posted by the producer (MONOTREE, who almost always produce ONF songs) which i find cool. Yooa is OH MY GIRLS main dancer, her brother is Yoo Jun-sun, I believe he was a dancer and choreographer under 1Million at some point. She appeared also in one episode of HIT THE STAGE with U-Kwon from BLOCK B (fun enough I also think her brother was dancing with Hoyeon from SNSD during this) WM ENT honestly have great dancers, Yooa is amazing she have a solo carrier too , they also have Chaeyeon (that you know from STREET WOMAN FIGHTER) and Yuto (main dancer of ONF). Yuto doesn't get a lot of screentime on ROAD TO KINGDOM unfortunately, he was also in Be Ambitious, I believe his introduction and application video got one of the highest score but MNET being MNET ended up giving HIM again little screentime during the show and even evil editing (confirmed by Pyoungya from Mbitious). He is close to dancer you might know, he went to Aiki show called Thumbs Up with Taehyun and Moon Jongup (B.A.P), did LAW challenge with Pyoungya in fact. Yumeki (1MILLION) and him are really close being both Japanese. Yumeki worked a lot with him, firstly he choreographed their song Goosebumps (with Kasper) and also choreograped some solo dance stuff for Yuto when others ONF members were in military like IFFY (Root for 1MILLION is one of the dancer with Yuto in this)/Kendrick Lamar - N95 (both Yumeki and Root are in it). He also choreographed on SATURDAY DRIP by NCT DREAM and both Chaeyeon/Yuto danced on it

So much information and I love it all!!! Super cool and I can agree that WM entertainment is killing it with their artists! Mnet always needs to CALM DOWN with their editing and how they portray people. Just because they are adults, doesn't mean that they are subjected to being portrayed as the WORST... Bless it.
