I discovered MT Pop through SDC4 and really find there's something distinct about his style and I really enjoy watching it. After watch SDC4 and other dance vids etc as well I kinda got the impression that Japanese dancers tend to be really powerful and clean with their moves in general, regardless of their main genre. Juanna and Kenken also move in a way that matches well; would've been cool to see them in the 2-person perf too. Dancing aside, I really liked watching the dancers interviews. In SDC4 at least, they have lots of commentary from the contestants about dance history, dance styles, dancer history/info, and their views of the performances (but not trash talking unlike SWF/SMF which loved to highlight that for the drama).

inconsistent enjoyer

ooof one thing im not glad that is back when rewatching is the amount of reaction shots! and camerawork can enhance a the performance but not great in most cases here... i want to see the dance >:/ also the use of suicide always tells me a lot about a breaker, when its not fitting i find it so embarrassing😬

I AGREE! I love that we actually have CALL OUTS take place as well as helping the public understand certain mannerisms so they understand the context more accurately (especially with the foreign competitors!)

When the Break isn't breaking haha. Completely agree! You can tell how nervous someone is by the way they set up and finish their set!
