Oh yeah I saw all the camera angles and cringed so hard as much this time as I did the first time. (Also the ot7 Love Shake version is so much more fun and playful!) You having to see Chase Me is so valid - it's like you need to scrub your brain clean from Minx. Hahaha they did it I know for Chase Me/Good Night but I can't remember if they spoiled Fly High at the end of Good Night. I know they haven't done it outside of the Nightmare series though. A good start to your MV marathon as a little treat to yourself for getting through a lot of dance practices!

During "Fly High" era in one of the radio shows Jiu said that the CEO said he'd open a cucumber business for them if Dreamcatcher failed. So it's safe to say no one knew if the change would be for good or not. Fortunately, it worked out in the best way possible. I remember watching an unofficial short youtube documentary video on the CEO (which I couldn't find now unfortunately) but basically he studied in a japaneese uni and then spent his youth promoting japaneese rock bands in 90s by buying their CDs and merch and bringing them in bulk to Korea. I think he even attempted (successfully? idk) to bring a band for a concert. So the decision to go with the j-rock influenced sound for a girl group, after failed attempts at doing kpop the kpop way, was basically him going back to his roots and the music he actually digs himself and trying something new with it. Just wanted to share the story, cause I think it's very inspiring when people find success in unexpected ways connected to the things they genuinely love/enjoy. Really wish I could find that documentary again :(

I know the one you're talking about! I watched that one too but I can't remember who made it.

I really loved the fact I took a little preview for myself before going through the rest! Sooooo happy! Can't wait until we get through all the other analysis so I can grab some popcorn and vibe out to the MV!!

Hi *waves* (weaseldale on YouTube), unsurprisingly Minx was a rough topic for the 5 members who were part of it for a long time - honestly I think until they got their first win as Dreamcatcher with Maison. The group failing alone would be enough, but the three youngest have all talked about being uncomfortable and how debuting while they were still in highschool impacted them. Even if minx had been "successful" I can't imagine those memories would ever be fond for some of them. I'm glad we have dreamcatcher instead.

HEY!! So this point that you made here is the EXACT reason the discussions get had haha! Don't you feel like people overlook these things until they see the natural repercussions years later when the damage has already been done? I wish they were placed in a safer concepts but I am so thankful they are DC now because of the shift of focal points within what was being carried conceptually and choreographically. I can relate to the oversensitive nature of being exposed to things too young and dealing with the aftermath of it... VERY thankful that we have the group that we have!!
