If my memory isn't failing me (which it might be) XG wasn't originally scheduled to perform on Day 2 of KCON LA - they had a showcase scheduled for Day 3 of KCON LA but after Fifty Fifty had to pass about 3 weeks before the show, XG appeared on the Day 2 schedule. They performed the 2NE1 cover as the opening number for night 2 of the convention, then did TGIF and GRL GVNG during their performance slot before doing a half-hour showcase on day 3. al51723 did such a great job on that fancam. The only downside is the sound is a bit overloaded. This lyric video has clearer sound and the English parts of the transcription seem reasonable if you want to hear the remix better: https://youtu.be/x5HRwCfR1Pc?si=zDoMPQ-08yEYJmLo In particular, during the opening section, they shout out BLACKJACKs and 2NE1, which was a nice touch. I hadn't noticed the repeat of that hand placement when watching it before - definitely seems like something they could improve if they perform it again (which I hope they do!) . It was such a fun performance and seemed like it was really well received by the crowd, which was heartwarming. Glad you enjoyed it!

They did amazingly on both stages at kcon LA! Just small note they were originally ONLY scheduled special stage for concert day 2 (usually meaning artist just do short performance covers to showcase and get their name out there) but after fiftyfifty drop out they got like a full on spot to do their own music and covers later on in the show as well!

Just finished video great commentary and critiquing as usual! Glad u enjoyed it as well as a 2ne1 fan. Just to note this was the first thing that XG performed at KCON LA and also the first thing of the entire KCON LA concert for the audience! Imo they did amazing as the concert openers.
