mnet schedules are crazy. ling and latrice were injured during the SWF2 concert tour which is why they weren't in the performance

for real. also I don't know if you saw this but Eunwoo spilled some tea about nolip. Confirmed that Mowgli was faking her injury to leave the show. Rewatching the scene on the show where she goes "Oh yeah so sorry guys I have to leave because of my shoulder blah blah blah" is very interesting

Doesn't shock me at all... I still feel that Mnet should have done a better job of articulating that this was a possibility because a lot of people probably got MSD upset over this situation in the series. It could have saved a lot of issues for Eunwoo... But on the other hand Eunwoo wouldn't have possibly gotten the opportunity she got in that case.

BTW Latrice uploaded a video of Miyabi and Sieanna danced with the song "Move" yesterday. It was originally created for possible duo battle. Looks great to my untrained eyes and make me even sadder that Miyabi was injured and couldn't perform on the live stage.

Hahah, just saw the part you mentioned it in the video XDD

quick note that idk you knew already but tsubakill actually has a couple of members that are in jam republic's agency (i believe yumeri and akanen)! plus we already knew that yumeri was a sort of mentor to miyabi so it was so cool to see them come out to support, as well as wolflo and bada + baby bebe!

I haven’t seen street dance china so idk hahah but I will say the drama for SWF gets a lot less intense and the dynamic actually quite lovely and touching from all the dancers after the first 2 eps where they do their first set of “No Respect” battle. S1 a little more drama just bc the girls really amped up the tension to make the show take off. They talked about it too bc it’s rare for dancers to be able to take center stage and be the main character so they really hoped the show would take off so that they can put a spotlight on the dance community. The girls definitely did that lol a whole franchise came out from it. That said, the personalities are top notch in S1 lol a little dramatic at first but then it really comes down to humor, big personality and respect for each other. It’s so nice to see. Mnet is known for evil editing but I gotta admit, the producer for SWF specifically seem to truly have a love and respect for dancers bc they made sure to highlight a lot of beautiful moments and no one ended up becoming a villain. That’s why the show took off and basically every leader from SWF 1 became celebrities in their own right in Korea. Then it just gets bigger and bigger and SWF 2 is just another level of talents and made even more dancers household names in Korea. I totally get it if you’re not up for watching the show I’m full tho 😜 I personally would love to watch it again w you. They have some moments between the leaders and their crew as well as dance directing problems that was interesting to me and I think you would have some good insight for. But I’m ok watching the existing reaction for sure.

Also now that I’ve been binging your SDC reaction, I will say, since you already watched pretty much all the performances and battles, you can just watch SWF in full for funsies and not have to analyze as much. Most of your predictions pretty much matched the results anyways tbh. If anything, there were some results that the public didn’t agree with but in your reaction you actually break down why they make sense and that actually what made me interested in your reaction bc you pointed out things that you noticed as a pro dancer that I didn’t realize as the audience. I’ve been binging your SDC reactions and what makes SDC tough is bc it’s presented as a much more high caliber competition, so drama and bad calls for the storyline might feel more annoying. Whereas you know you’re watching reality TV w SWF. It’s dramatic but also the popular votes play a huge part so it’s easier to understand how things play out bc it’s mostly commercial appeal so it makes sense. It’s entertaining and less upsetting when a good team have to go bc a lot of it is luck of the draw and popular votes and the skill level feel more balanced. With SDC, because the caliber of talents/masters they have, naturally you would expect much more details and clarity in the judging. That’s why when the producers be producing in disguise of a serious competition, it gets your heart rate up LOL the drama in SWF is spicy at first but becomes loving later. You might enjoy it more since it takes less brain power to watch

Thank you so much for sharing your perspective with this! I am really glad that the full episodes of these shows have been helpful with my commentary! The only thing as of right now that would stop me from doing full episodes in the future is Patreon... They have a limit to how many hours of footage I am allotted on the platform directly so I've been navigating through that issue recently haha

Julie Pham

I’m not surprised at all lol you’re a beast w how much you upload. Another creator I followed hosted his older patreon content on a private Vimeo/one drive link with one password for them all to keep it from taking up space on patreon. I guess if ppl want they can still share it but it makes it a little harder. Idk if that helps but thanks for considering! 😁

TheGayestGay

That’s why I like Prowdmon so much because they weren’t afraid of contemporary styles/music but the closest we’ve gotten to that recently is Wolf’Lo but more street lol 😂

JessReacts764

That's a really great idea to consider! Especially if I ever plan on doing Street Dance China again haha!
