When you pointed out Bella’s facial expressions in their unforgiven lesserafim challenge performance it was honestly an eye opener because when I first saw their performance I saw it as her radiating confidence or being “raw” & powerful similar to how Audrey is . But it makes sense that I misread and clearly see where you are coming from. I totally agree with you on that. And then we have this final performance from jam which was not as subtle as the last & it made me extremely uncomfortable!!! Perhaps not noticing the signs early on could lead to it tipping the line even more & im glad you caught it & now I’m aware of it too. In this show I would not have known the two older girls are 18 (doesn’t make it ok they are still teenagers on a GIRL dance competition) . I’m disappointed in their mentors for allowing them to commit to this and definitely side eying them a bit. Maybe not Audrey since she was 19 which is the age that some of the older girls on this show are and she is so young having to mentor other young girls having gone through a lot recently in both swf2 & here. But all in all is that this final performance crossed the line !!! I’m really upset because these girls are so talented and deserved much better guidance . It makes me even more concerned that the industry probably made Kirsten & Latrice think this is “normal” if they were also brought up into the industry & dance world growing up like this too. Thank you for speaking out and as someone that’s in my early 20’s and wants to teach , the safety of children needs to be at the forefront of ALL educators & we should advocate unapologetically for them.

& when I mentioned crossed the line I’m referring to the few “moments” that were totally unnecessary & we could’ve gone a different direction!!! they did a spectacular job and I’m happy for their well deserved win but those tiny bits should’ve been avoided!!
