What makes Guerrilla even more difficult with synchronicity is that during the dance break at the end when they pop off, there's a fanchant happening that's kind of iconic at this point (fans scream "break the wall!" repeatedly) and it's so loud that ATEEZ have said multiple times that they can't hear the music at all in their in-ears when they dance that part so they actually have to time it with the chant itself and each other's feet which is kind of insane that they manage to hit all that with basically no reference. For the musicality, if you have time, I think it might be worth checking out the 1theK performance video they did. The MV is great but obviously doesn't show the whole choreo, whereas the 1theK video is all performance so idk! Just a suggestion!

For me Guerilla was the comeback where it felt like they fully settled into their energy/image as a group. Everything from their choreography to their songs to their performance style has such a instant feeling of "This is ATEEZ". They've always had the ATEEZ vibe from debut but there's a level of consistency and confidence that has consistently impressed me in every comeback since Guerilla 😊

I may try to look at the other versions of these routines whenever we need more ATEEZ in our lives! Sounds freaking wild!!

I think Guerrilla is the pivotal point where their performance went from really good with a lot of potential, to powerful and dynamic. I’ve loved watching their growth. At the end you were talking about Yunho and Mingi’s height and how it possibly has to do with the stiffness in their back. I know they attended the same dance academy, so wondering if it’s the way they were taught? Not sure. Sometimes when I see figure skaters, for instance, I can spot a Russian skater almost instantly (without seeing their name) simply because of the way they hold their back; straight and a little more on the stiff side. So I just wonder if Yunho and Mingi were taught a certain way of holding themselves during a performance? Just wondering what your thoughts are. I still love Yunho’s style. I think being taller might be more of a challenge to keep all those long limbs in sync with other dancers. But I like his control. I appreciate those anchor dancers who stay in sync, respect the choreography, and don’t make the dance about “them”. For group performances, it’s so important.

What an interesting thought about how they went to the same academy! That may definitely be a factor for sure! They are so impressive with this one and this one was also SO TIRED to do 😂😂
