😭😭😭 This was so good. I love watching people who are working through XG for the first time. It is all nostalgic. These girls have my heart and soul. Thank you so much for doing this, and including Winter Without You even though there was no choreo. I cannot WAIT for your opinions and your feedback on the documentary. I’ve never seen someone who understands dance watch it. Thank you so much for your love towards us ALPHAZ, you’re pretty much one now as well I should say. :) they have so much content out there for fans, not so much dance related, but they have a lot of content for their singing and rapping. I also cannot wait for you to do their 2NE1 cover, since you’re such a gen 2 fan.

"Im a a a......" *my thoughts yesss say it say it!!!!* " an admirer" awwwww lmao was hoping for alphaz hahahah its okay we know you are one of us. Agreed tho big part of XG draw is how much homage and throwbacks they do. They are very nostalgic yet refreshing in todays music. As for all the MVs concepts its really cool to see how they progress. In the beginning they were humble and just trying to build a following with first 2 songs i would say. Then with SS and LR was their first taste of their concept and then finally the NEW DNA mini album was their hard launch on the concept - XG are aliens from out of this world. They noted each MV or at least the first 3 each have a specific story Grl Gvng being arrival to earth, TGIF is their evolution, and new dance is exploration.

As for more XG content theres an absolute ton for you to watch if u choose to do so hahahahah XG Vox - Vocal line showcase (covers of songs only 5 videos) XG Tapes - Rap Line showcase (original verses on sampled beats 4 videos) Xtra Xtra - documentary of the whole XGALX program (not just the 7 girls but more focused/prominent on them) and how they were trained and chosen XG Days - youtube free videos of their lives during trips and such watch this for their personality and such, this mostly where the memes, insiders etc. come from like father hinata, muscle mother chisa, risu (squirrel) queen juria XG 3 meals a day - one week reality show where the girls live in country side and do games challenges to get ingredients to make food must watch also to learn their personalities. XG behind the scenes - for most MVs and performances and such Xtra XG - overlaps with above

Wow! What a treat! Thanks for going back through all the MV's - it was a lot of fun watching them again and seeing them with the new information you've provided. (And it's always just fun watching people experience the MV's for the first time!) I'm so glad you got to see Winter Without You. I doubt there will ever be a dance practice since there's very little movement in the MV - but it's such a beautiful song. Good catch noticing that the wolf motif pops up for the first time in the Shooting Star video. I'd never thought about it before, but the fandom name was announced on July 25, 2022, almost a month after Mascara was released - so it makes sense that was the first time they used it in an MV! I've really enjoyed and learned a lot from this marathon! Looking forward to the documentary - especially in the first 3 episodes, there's a lot of content around dance and I'll be really curious to see your take on it both as a dancer and a dance educator. Oh! I almost forgot to mention - there's actually one more music video! It's set to New Dance, but they released it as the "Official Multiverse Music Video" - they filmed it in LA, presumably between their Head In the Clouds LA concert and KCON LA. Aw this was so fun! I love this format of the marathon and then the MVs because it does feel like you get to fill in the "concept" holes a bit for the whole intention of the performances because KPOP really feels like it all about the MVs. I think you could ALSO tell that the jump from mascara to shooting star was immense. in hindsight it feels like 2022 was intended from a overall standpoint as a "soft launch" year for XG and 2023 the company was like OK THIS IS IT GOGOGO. They turned it up IMMENSELY and it felt like they were PREPARED and MOTIVATED to do the damn thing. I'm still just SO impressed with what XG is doing.

It’s such a joy to see their concepts flourish and how they take ownership of EACH ONE OF THEM!! Can’t wait to dive into the documentary! I heard that I may like Simon and we shall see if I will become an “alpha” by the end 😂😂

This was so amazing to watch! Loved the entire XG series as well. As a heads up, if you do venture into the documentary side, there was a lot of criticism regarding the type of dances the trainees had to do at the time, some of it very non-age-appropriate. I am just thankful it didn't bleed in too heavily into their actual content once they became a group.
