This song is such a vibe! Especially the… camel walk? Look at me learning dance move names from you! Bitter sweet that you are caught up. I have had so much fun watching you work through the XG content. Heart warming that you have already gotten to know all of the members so well. I really hope you find time to do the documentary, it is a bit rough emotionally, but it is dance heavy and it does give a deeper sense of where their teamwork and closeness comes from. Thank you so much, I’ve started watching some of your other content as well, your reviews are just so good and I’ve learned more from your XG reviews about choreo then I knew before I came over here to Patreon. Thanks for teaching me. :)

Yessss pls do the documentary!!!! Dont want this marathon xg deep dive to end lol. Also just going to throw it out there again KCON LA day 2 concert opener XG remix/cover of 2ne1 i am the best! So u also kind of get a feel of how they are in live concerts!

I really liked the pop-locking moment because of how Hinata continued vibing on the side. It's nice to see them enjoying their own songs. The documentary is amazing. I was really surprised that they decided to give the viewer such a raw and in depth view of the training and selection process in the industry. I don't think I have seen that anywhere else. Very little sugar coating and at times heart breaking - but that's what makes me appreciate it a lot! I can highly recommend it! If you want something light hearted to celebrate the end of your marathon and putting 7 names to 7 faces, I can recommend XG DAYS #21 (HOLIDAY in JAPAN). It's a vlog of them enjoying some off time with their producer Simon - it's quite wholesome and you can tell they enjoy each other's company. Thanks for taking us along :)

I think the documentary shows why the fanbase LOVESSSSS simon, aka the executer producer and ceo of xgalx, so much. And u can see the girls really love him so much too in many moments during all of their content like how they always look for him. Like *assumption* when he maybe told them couldnt make it to hitc ny performance but after the show he was there and they all run to him some cry too! Lol well maybe jurin still crying from overwhelming feelings after first US performance.

That was so fun! Thanks for taking us through all of these dance practices. I didn't have the background on a lot of the dances they were doing, so hearing the comparison with the older forms of social dance and connecting it to the Tik Tok ready New Dance chorus movement was really interesting. Congratulations on locking in all of the members! So impressed how quickly you got all of them! So sad that we've come to the end of XG's dance practices! (Actually, I was wondering if there's anything to learn from the Puppet Show dance practice - they released that as a fixed version after the Choreography video that you watched. I'm sure we'd learn something, but might be too much the same for you.) I just saw that you dropped a big video of MV reviews! I'm off to see that next! One thing I'm much more attuned to after watching your breakdowns is how people move around the formations. I noticed that Cocona can cover a lot of ground really smoothly - she has the furthest to go after the conga line and I noticed they used her that way as well in the X-Gene choreo where she crosses a lot of distance while hopping/kicking to complete the formation behind Jurin. Thanks again for another great breakdown!

Oh, also, you asked if the metronome at the top was in the live performances. I went back and checked and I didn't hear it on what was broadcast, but they could have had it in their IEMs, I guess? I love how much fun they have with this one.

Sienna popped off with this one. It's one of my favorite choreo of theirs bc the vibe was just so fun. XG actually is the reason I learned of Sienna LaLau and then realized she danced with Kirsten and the Royal family quite a lot before. Sienna and the Lab also travel and dance with XG for a lot of their shows as well as showing up in their MVs for New Dance! I just love the way XG choreo feels so fresh and interesting with lots of formation changes that we don't see often in Kpop. I didn't know Sienna can choreograph like this lol I commented on one of The Lab's insta post that I need them and Sienna to join SWF next season and bring a fresh air to the show. They liked by comment soooo... I'ma let my delulu brain get hyped that its happening LOL jk but I'm LOVING Sienna's work with XG lately. One thing that really made me appreciate XG is their clear appreciation for their dancers. There's a video on the Lab's or Sienna's instagram where the girls and Simon (their boss) specifically showed Sienna the MV for TGIF for the first time before it's released. The comraderies between them are quite nice. The girls often have the Lab's merch on when they're dancing off the cuff on instagram or just chilling. At one of their first performance at In the Clouds LA (or smt similar), they took the time to specifically introduce the Lab and Sienna and thank them for performing with them and said they really appreciate the Lab and felt honor to dance alongside with them bc they spent so much time as trainees watching their dance videos and routines. I don't follow a lot of other idol groups but honestly it's rare to see a group does that. Esp when it's not even a dedicated XG concert but just a show they're there to perform as one of the main act. I thought that was cool. XG felt like a collaborative effort from a lot of creative minds behind the scenes from their concepts, training to execution. Its very cool

I love that so much! It makes me so happy that Sienna also has a group like XG as well! I know for her she gets pulled in so many directions but the appreciation of people who really care for her craft is always something I feel she will appreciate!
